Welcome to South Park
South Park follows the animated misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the quiet, dysfunctional, and fictional town of South Park, Colorado.

South Park was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. Parker and Stone developed the show from two animated shorts they created in 1992 and 1995 using construction paper. The '95 video became one of the first viral videos on the Internet. South Park is now animated using computer software but retains the paper cutout look of the original.

South Park is not for little kids. In fact, it seems its goal is to offend whomever it pleases as it follows the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman. The show has taken on Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, politicians of every stripe and self-important celebrities. Oh, and Kenny gets killed in many episodes.

South Park has also received numerous media awards including multiple Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.
