It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is a comedy following "The Gang", a group of friends who own and run Paddy's Pub, a rundown bar in Philadelphia. With no real ambition and no moral compass, The Gang goes through life attempting to fulfill their goals with minimal effort. The Gang consists of Dennis, an egocentric pretty boy; his twin sister Dee, a failing aspiring actress who is a constant target of ridicule from the others; Mac, a wannabe tough guy; and Charlie, the group idiot who is forced to do what no one else will and the creator of the Dayman and Nightman characters. In Season 2, Danny Devito joins the cast as Dennis and Dee's father Frank, who becomes one of the gang as he shares their warped views and lack of decency. Their schemes result in hilariously offensive and politically incorrect situations but always end with The Gang in the same place as where they started, Paddy's Pub.
