Katie Stevens' dreams of being this year's "American Idol" ended April 14 when she was voted out of the competition, along with Andrew Garcia, after a season-high 34 million votes were cast. The Middlebury 17-year old went the farthest in the competition of anybody from Connecticut and had lately been earning encouraging comments from judges in her rocky ride into the Top 9. Read more.
